[Overview]

This listing is for a pair of the legendary LANSING SALON cabinets for 15-inch speakers, released by ALTEC LANSING Manufacturing Company (ALTEC) in the early 1940s.

These cabinets were developed for general consumer use while retaining many of the characteristics of ALTEC’s large two-way speaker systems.

They deliver clear, vivid high frequencies and deep, resonant sound of exceptional quality. The two-way system uses a dividing network and separate speakers for the high- and low-frequency ranges, ensuring accurate sound reproduction.

Both the Salon and general-purpose models were released, and this pair is the Salon model.
