This item is the JBL MODEL 6020 200 Watt Power Amplifier, a high-power amplifier released by JBL.
Drawing extensively on the knowledge and experience JBL had accumulated through the development of vacuum-tube power amplifiers, the MODEL 6020 represents one of the company’s outstanding transistor-based power amplifier designs.
With its impressive 200W + 200W output, it provides a wide frequency response extending into the upper harmonic range while maintaining low distortion and powerful, dynamic sound reproduction.
It would not be an exaggeration to call this one of the finest amplifiers in JBL’s Professional Series. Historically, it is also an important model, as its design served as the foundation for the later 60XX Series amplifiers.
